About UsThe Michigan Men's Club Volleyball team at the University of Michigan was founded in 1968 to help gather players interested in competing and growing the sport. The club also gives players the opportunity to be a part of a fun environment that builds lasting friendships. We compete at an intercollegiate level, as part of the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) and the Big Ten. The season begins in September and culminates with the National Collegiate Volleyball Tournament in April.
We currently have two teams available for those interested in joining. Practices are held in the evenings at Cliff Keen Arena, typically late enough so that our members do not have conflicting class schedules. If you love the sport of Volleyball, please consider trying out! 2023 fall tryouts are now closed, please fill out this form and follow us on Instagram (@michiganmvb) to receive updates for our winter tryouts information! Giving Blue DayOur club team greatly appreciates all the support from our fans! Our club is ran entirely by students, and we pay for our own travel costs, tournament fees, jerseys, and everything in between. A gift from you, however small, goes a long way to helping our club grow the sport we all love for generations to come. If you are interested in donating, be sure to come back here on Giving Blue day for details on when and where to donate!
